Housekeeping Supervisor
Summary
To Supervise all activities of the Housekeeping Department. He or she will also act as Housekeeping Manager in his or her absence and on assigned holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and check the work of assigned employees to ensure cleanliness, sanitation and orderliness of assigned rooms and common areas.
- Submit daily inspection reports to Housekeeping Manager
- Assist with team member orientation and training
- Ensure Holiday Inn Express room standards are maintained
- Work with Front Desk and Maintenance Departments regarding status of rooms to ensure excellent Guest Satisfaction
- Ensure safe and effective use of cleaning materials and equipment
- *Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Housekeeping experience
- Able to effectively communicate with quests and have a positive attitude
- Available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Self starter with excellent organization and customer service skills
- Computer literacy is an asset

Room Attendant
Summary
To work with the Manager of Housekeeping to attain the cleanliness and guest service standards required by the hotel and Holiday Inn Express.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily cleaning and standard to include but not limited to guest rooms, public areas and corridors
- Work with Guest Services and Maintenance departments regarding status of rooms, quest requests and repair issues
- Ensure correct replacement of fixtures, furniture and amenities
- To work and communicate in a professional manner with colleagues to develop team spirit and to achieve excellent Guest Satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High School diploma an asset
- Experience in Housekeeping an asset
- Ability to work days and occasional evening shift
- To communicate with guests and team members in a clear and empathetic manner
- To be a team player

Guest Services Representative
Summary
- Responds to and services the guests’ needs.
- To expand their skills set and work in a fast paced environment with new challenges daily.
- To provide excellent Customer Service.
Responsibilities
- To ensure complete knowledge of all hotel systems
- Reports to the Guest Services Manager
- Registering guests, making and modifying reservations
- Act as the hotel operator and concierge
- Complete all tasks describe in shift checklists
- Sell and up sell rooms to walk ins and phone reservations
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Keep cash drawer secure and in balance throughout shifts
Qualities
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Positive and upbeat personality
- Desire to deliver outstanding customer service
- Problem Solver
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent telephone manner
- Must be organized and be able to work in a team environment

Food & Beverage Team Lead
Responsibilities
- Setting up and taking down the daily complimentary breakfast bar
- Making sure all breakfast items are well stocked
- Ordering of stock
- Handling of all meeting coffee breaks
Qualities
- Excellent Customer Service
- To be able to work early mornings and some afternoon shifts
- Ability to communicate with guests regarding breakfast offerings and basic hotel information
- Work as a team member or individually
- Must be able to multi-task and communicate with other departments

House Person
Summary
- To take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel property inside and out
- To provide hotel guest’s with quality service in a timely and friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel
- Cleaning and setting up meeting room functions
- Restocking housekeeping stations
- Delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from desk
Qualities
- Able to lift and carry 10 to 30 lbs
- Able to work with little supervision
- Good communication skills with both guests and fellow colleagues
- Excellent Customer Service skills
